For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD23 is a 45 kDa glycoprotein present on a subpopulation of freshly isolated peripheral blood and tonsil B cells and is strongly expressed on EBV-transformed B lymphoblasts.
It is identical to the low-affinity IgE receptor found on B cells. CD23 expression has been detected in neoplastic cells from cases of B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia and certain centroblastic/centrocytic lymphomas.
Functionally, CD23 is involved in B cell growth, differentiation, and IgE production. The soluble form of CD23 acts as a potent mitogenic factor.
Diseases associated with CD23 dysfunction include chronic conjunctivitis and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
