Target Information
This gene encodes a protein containing the GAP-related domain (GRD), characteristic of GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs). GAPs act as activators of Ras superfamily small GTPases. The encoded protein can complement defective RasGAP function in yeast. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
