Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
- After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
- Shelf life after reconstitution: approximately 18 months.
- For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
- Rat anti-Mouse Dectin-1 antibody, clone 2A11, recognizes murine beta-glucan receptor (Dectin-1).
Target Information
CLEC7A (Dectin-1) is a member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily, predominantly expressed on myeloid cells. It functions as a pattern-recognition receptor that binds beta-1,3- and beta-1,6-linked glucans from fungi and plants, playing a critical role in innate immunity. Upon fungal recognition, CLEC7A activates Syk tyrosine kinase, inducing reactive oxygen species formation.
