Target Information
GOT2 (Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 2) is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme found in the cytoplasm and inner mitochondrial membrane as GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. These enzymes are involved in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. Both forms are homodimeric and exhibit close homology.
