Cadherin-16(Ksp-Cadherin)은 신장 특이적 Type I 막 단백질로, 신세뇨관 상피세포의 기저외측막에만 발현됩니다.
인간 Ksp-Cadherin 유전자(Cadherin-16)는 염색체 16q21–16q22 영역에 위치하며, 생쥐 유전자는 염색체 8의 상동 영역에 위치합니다.
