Target Information
KIF13A는 미세소관 기반 운동 단백질인 kinesin 계열에 속하며, endosome의 위치 조절에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 mannose-6-phosphate receptor가 포함된 소포를 trans-Golgi network에서 세포막으로 이동시키며, late endosome/lysosome의 정상적인 분포를 유지하는 데 필요합니다. 또한 FYVE-CENT 및 TTC19의 세포질 분배, melanosome 성숙 과정에도 관여합니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 전사체 변형이 생성됩니다.
