Target Information
Cytokeratin 19은 중간 필라멘트 단백질의 하위군에 속하며, 인간 상피 조직에서 최소 20가지 이상의 폴리펩타이드로 구성된 생화학적 다양성을 가집니다. Cytokeratin은 분자량 40–68 kDa, 등전점 pH 4.9–7.8 범위를 가지며, 인간의 각 상피는 특정한 유형과 분화 정도에 따라 서로 다른 cytokeratin을 발현합니다. 이러한 발현 패턴은 다양한 상피성 종양의 구분에 활용되며, 면역조직화학, 세포병리학, 유세포 분석 등에서 진단 보조 도구로 사용됩니다. 특히 Cytokeratin 19는 간세포에서 발현되지 않아 간 전이 종양의 식별에 유용합니다.
