This peptide corresponds to 16 amino acids near the amino terminus of OCIAD1.
PEP-0948 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-20834.
Target Information
Maintains stem cell potency. Increases STAT3 phosphorylation and controls ERK phosphorylation.
May act as a scaffold, increasing STAT3 recruitment onto endosomes.
Involved in integrin-mediated cancer cell adhesion and colony formation in ovarian cancer (PubMed:20515946). [UniProt]
