Reconstitution: Add 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships lyophilized at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

GPR56 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family with seven transmembrane domains and a mucin-like domain in the N-terminal region.
It regulates brain cortical patterning and binds specifically to transglutaminase 2 in the extracellular space.
Expression is downregulated in melanoma cell lines; overexpression suppresses tumor growth and metastasis.
Mutations in this gene cause bilateral frontoparietal polymicrogyria.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
