CD46 (MCP, membrane cofactor protein)은 보체 단백질 C3b 및 C4b를 비활성화하는 다기능 세포막 단백질로, T 세포 유도 염증 반응을 조절합니다. 또한 여러 병원체(세균 및 바이러스)의 수용체로 작용하며, T 림프구의 항원제시세포 또는 표적세포에 대한 극화를 조절합니다. CD46은 태반 조직을 보호하며, 정자의 내측 아크로솜막에서도 발현됩니다.
