Target Information
IL-33 (Interleukin-33)은 IL-1 family에 속하는 270 아미노산 길이의 단백질로, 염증성 사이토카인 및 핵 내 전사 조절因자로서 이중 기능을 가집니다.
IL-33은 IL1RL1/ST2를 통해 신호를 전달하며, MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, TRAF6을 모집하여 NF-kappaB 및 MAP kinase를 활성화합니다.
TH2 세포에서 IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 생성 유도 및 점막 기관의 병리적 변화를 일으킵니다.
IL-33은 CASP1에 의해 성숙 형태로 절단되며, 편도, Peyer 패치, 장간막 림프절의 고내피 venule에서 높게 발현됩니다.
또한 IL-33은 heterochromatin과 공위치를 가지며 전사 억제 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다. SDS-PAGE 상에서는 예측보다 높은 분자량으로 검출될 수 있습니다.
