Target Information
Neuregulin 1 (NRG1)은 원래 44-kDa 당단백질로 확인되었으며, NEU/ERBB2 수용체 티로신 키나아제와 상호작용하여 티로신 잔기의 인산화를 증가시킵니다. NRG1 유전자는 다양한 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 이소폼을 생성하며, 여기에는 Heregulins (HRGs), Glial Growth Factors (GGFs), Sensory and Motor Neuron-Derived Factor (SMDF) 등이 포함됩니다.
이 이소폼들은 조직 특이적으로 발현되며 구조적으로 차이를 보입니다. HRG 이소폼은 모두 면역글로불린(Ig) 및 EGF 유사 도메인을 포함하고, GGF 및 GGF2는 kringle 유사 서열과 Ig, EGF 유사 도메인을 포함합니다. SMDF는 EGF 유사 도메인만을 공유합니다.
NRG1의 모든 이소폼은 ERBB 계열의 티로신 키나아제 수용체를 통해 작용하며, 상피세포, 신경세포, 교세포 등 다양한 세포의 성장과 분화를 유도합니다.
