Target Information
RARA는 레티노산(retinoic acid)에 대한 수용체로, 리간드 결합 시 RXR/RAR 이합체 형태로 반응 요소에 결합하여 유전자 발현을 조절한다. 리간드가 없는 상태에서는 전사 억제 복합체와 결합하여 염색질 응축 및 전사 억제를 유도하며, 리간드 결합 후에는 코억제인 복합체가 해리되고 코활성인 복합체가 결합하여 전사 활성화를 유도한다.
RARA는 생식세포 발달, 골격 성장, 기질 항상성, 성장판 기능, 그리고 레티노산 유도성 과립구 생성 과정에 중요한 역할을 한다.
