Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
- Storage after reconstitution: Store at 4°C for up to 1 week. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
- Handling: Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
CACNA2D3 is a member of the alpha-2/delta subunit family, part of the voltage-dependent calcium channel complex. These channels mediate calcium ion influx upon membrane depolarization and are composed of alpha-1, alpha-2/delta, beta, and gamma subunits in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. Variants arise from related genes or alternative splicing. Studies in rabbit suggest that this protein is cleaved into alpha-2 and delta subunits.
