Target Information
TEF1 (Transcriptional enhancer factor 1)
TEF1는 TEA/ATTS 도메인 패밀리에 속하는 핵 단백질로, 다양한 세포 유형에서 발현되며 여러 유전자의 발현 조절에 관여합니다. TEF-1은 GT-IIC, SphI/II, M-CAT 서열에 결합하며, TGF-α의 근위 조절 요소(PRE)에도 결합합니다. TEF-1은 PKC 이소효소에 의해 인산화되며, 이 인산화는 DNA 결합 능력을 감소시켜 PKC 억제 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. 또한 TEF-1은 TAg와 복합체를 형성하여 종양 발생 과정에 관여할 수 있습니다. TEF-1의 이합체화는 전사 조절자로서의 기능에 중요합니다.
