KIT (c-KIT)는 MGF(mast cell growth factor, stem cell factor)의 수용체로 작용하는 타입 3 트랜스멤브레인 프로토온코진입니다. KIT는 다양한 조혈세포 및 비조혈세포의 성장과 활성화를 조절하며, 돌연변이는 위장관 기질종양(GIST), 비만세포 질환, 급성골수성백혈병(AML), piebaldism 등과 관련이 있습니다.
