• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
• For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The ALX4 gene encodes a paired-like homeodomain transcription factor expressed in the mesenchyme of developing bones, limbs, hair, teeth, and mammary tissue.
Mutations in this gene are associated with:

• Parietal foramina 2 (PFM2), an autosomal dominant disorder with deficient ossification of parietal bones
• Frontonasal dysplasia with alopecia and hypogonadism
• Potocki-Shaffer syndrome (PSS), caused by deletion of chromosome 11 segment del(11)(p11p12), leading to craniofacial anomalies, mental retardation, and multiple exostoses

In mice, this gene utilizes dual translation initiation sites located 16 codons apart.
