Target Information
Caspase 14은 세포 사멸(apoptosis) 과정에서 중심적인 역할을 하는 cysteine-aspartic acid protease 계열의 단백질을 암호화합니다. Caspases는 비활성 전구체 형태로 존재하며, 절단을 통해 활성 효소로 전환됩니다. Caspase 14는 in vitro에서 caspase 8 및 10에 의해 활성화되며, in vivo에서는 anti-Fas 항체 또는 TNF 관련 apoptosis 유도 리간드에 의해 활성화될 수 있습니다. 이 단백질은 각질세포의 최종 분화 및 피부 장벽 형성에 관여합니다.
