This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Noggin is involved in multiple developmental processes, including neural tube fusion and joint formation. Organ morphogenesis begins with downgrowth from epithelial stem cells, regulated by WNT3A (stabilizing beta-catenin) and Noggin, a bone morphogenetic protein inhibitor. Mutations in Noggin are associated with proximal symphalangism (SYM1) and multiple synostoses syndrome (SYNS1), both characterized by joint fusion defects.
