For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD10 (Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, CALLA) is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity that inactivates various biologically active peptides.
It is expressed on cells of lymphoblastic, Burkitt’s, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, immature B cells in adult bone marrow, and cells from chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML) patients.
CD10 is also found on breast myoepithelial cells, bile canaliculi, fibroblasts, and highly expressed on the brush border of kidney and gut epithelial cells.

CD10 is a 100 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein that cleaves peptides at the amino side of hydrophobic residues, inactivating peptide hormones such as glucagon, enkephalins, substance P, neurotensin, oxytocin, and bradykinin.
The CD10 gene’s 5′ untranslated region is alternatively spliced, producing four mRNA transcripts without affecting the coding region.
Diseases associated with CD10 dysfunction include spinocerebellar ataxia 43 and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
