Target Information
SIRT7는 효모 Sir2 단백질과 상동성을 가진 sirtuin 단백질 계열의 구성원입니다. sirtuin 계열은 핵심 도메인 구조를 가지며 네 가지 클래스로 구분되며, SIRT7은 클래스 IV에 속합니다. 인간 sirtuin의 기능은 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았으나, 효모 sirtuin은 유전자 발현의 후성유전적 조절 및 rDNA 재조합 억제에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 인간 sirtuin은 세포 내 조절 단백질로서 mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase 활성을 가질 것으로 제안됩니다.
