Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER)는 TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 apoptosis를 매개하는 death domain을 포함한 수용체로, TNF-receptor superfamily의 구성원입니다. DR5는 TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L에 의해 활성화되어 apoptosis 신호를 전달합니다. FADD 결핍 마우스 연구에서 FADD 단백질이 DR5 매개 apoptosis에 필요함이 제시되었습니다. DR5는 두 가지 서로 다른 isoform을 인코딩하는 transcript variant와 하나의 non-coding transcript를 포함합니다. DR5의 과발현은 apoptosis를 유도하고 NF-kappa-B를 활성화합니다. DR5는 여러 세포 유형에서 발현되며, 특히 림프구와 비장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다. DR5 기능 이상과 관련된 질환으로는 편평세포암 및 diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome이 보고되었습니다.
