Target Information
Periaxin (PRX)는 인간에서 PRX 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질로, 말초 신경의 수초 유지에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 PSD95, DlgA, ZO1 단백질 이름에서 유래한 두 개의 PDZ 도메인을 포함합니다. 두 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변형이 보고되었으며, 각각 다른 Schwann 세포 내 위치를 가집니다. PRX 유전자의 돌연변이는 Charcot-Marie-Tooth 신경병증 type 4F 및 Dejerine-Sottas 신경병증을 유발합니다.
