Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
Glucose is fundamental to mammalian cell metabolism. Several glucose transporter (GLUT) isoforms function in response to insulin and IGF1 signaling.
GLUT3 is expressed in spermatids in testis, placental trophoblast membranes, and neurons in brain.
GLUT3 staining is also observed in human cancers such as ovary, lung, and testis.
