Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of NFκB-p65 only when acetylated at Lys314/315.
Target Information
Nuclear factor kB p65 (NF-kB p65) is encoded by the RELA gene and located on chromosome 11 in humans. NF-kB p65, also known as RelA, belongs to the Rel family of proteins and forms a heterodimer with p50 or p52 subunits. Upon TNFα stimulation, IKK phosphorylates IκB, leading to its proteasomal degradation. NF-kB p65 plays a crucial role in transcription of the immunoglobulin kappa gene in mature B-lymphoid cells.
