Target Information
Beclin 1은 자가포식(autophagy) 과정에서 중심적인 역할을 하는 단백질로, phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate 형성을 매개하는 PI3K 복합체의 핵심 서브유닛으로 작용합니다.
PI3KC3-C1 복합체는 자가포식소체 형성 개시(initiation)에, PI3KC3-C2 복합체는 자가포식소체 성숙(maturation) 및 엔도사이토시스(endocytosis)에 관여한다고 알려져 있습니다.
또한 Beclin 1은 항바이러스 숙주 방어(antiviral host defense)에도 역할을 합니다.
