Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

CHEK1 (CHK1) is a serine/threonine protein kinase involved in preventing replication when DNA integrity is compromised. It acts as a key mediator in the DNA damage-induced checkpoint network and ensures genomic integrity under genotoxic stress.
Inhibition of CHK1 abrogates G2 or S checkpoint, causing mitotic catastrophe and apoptosis in p53-deficient cancer cells, while normal cells remain arrested in G1. Therefore, CHK1 is an attractive therapeutic target for cancer treatment, especially in p53-deficient tumors.
