Target Information
CD34는 111–115 kDa의 고도로 당화된 단량체 표면 단백질로, 다양한 줄기세포 집단에서 발현된다. 인간 조혈모세포에서의 발현은 가역적이며, 세포 부착, 분화, 증식 조절에 관여하는 수용체 역할을 할 수 있다. CD34는 줄기세포가 골수의 세포외기질이나 기질세포에 부착할 수 있도록 매개하는 접착분자로 추정된다. 또한 선택틴(selectin)에 대한 탄수화물 리간드 제시 및 신호전달 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있다. CD34 기능 이상은 피부섬유육종(dermatofibrosarcoma) 및 신경섬유종(neurofibroma)과 관련이 있다.
