CLEC7A (Dectin-1)는 C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) 슈퍼패밀리에 속하며, 주로 골수 계통 세포에서 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 작은 당단백질 타입 II 막 수용체로, 세포 외부에 C-type lectin-like domain을 가지고 있으며 세포질 도메인에는 ITAM (immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif)을 포함합니다.
CLEC7A는 β-1,3 및 β-1,6 결합 글루칸을 인식하는 패턴 인식 수용체로서, 진균 및 식물 유래 글루칸을 인식하여 선천 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
진균 노출 시 CLEC7A는 Syk tyrosine kinase를 활성화하여 반응성 산소종(ROS)을 생성하는 강력한 산화 반응을 유도합니다.
