Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate Kinase M2)는 피루브산과 ATP로부터 인산엔올피루브산을 생성하는 효소로, 갑상선 호르몬에 의해 유도되는 세포 대사 효과를 매개할 수 있습니다. 또한 PKM2는 임균의 부착 및 침입에 관여하는 외막 단백질 Opa와 결합하여 세균 병원성에 관여할 수 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 세 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 두 가지 상이한 아이소폼을 암호화합니다.
