Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
HSPB8 belongs to the small heat-shock protein superfamily, containing a conserved alpha-crystallin domain at the C-terminal region.
Its expression is induced by estrogen in estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer cells and functions as a chaperone with Bag3 to stimulate macroautophagy.
This gene is involved in cell proliferation, apoptosis, and carcinogenesis, and mutations are linked to neuromuscular diseases such as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
