• Reconstitution: Add 50 µL or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• After reconstitution, store at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels are a complex class of ion channels involved in processes such as neurotransmitter release, heart rate regulation, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume control.
The KCNE2 gene encodes a small integral membrane subunit that associates with the KCNH2 gene product to modulate its function.
KCNE2 is expressed in heart and muscle tissues, and mutations are associated with cardiac arrhythmia.
