Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IGF-BP3. Anti-Human IGF-BP3-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hIGF-BP3 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IGFBP3 (500-P230) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant hIGFBP3.

Western Blot:
To detect hIGFBP3 by Western blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant hIGFBP3 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IGFBP3 belongs to the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family. It encodes a protein containing both IGFBP and thyroglobulin type-I domains. IGFBP3 forms a ternary complex with insulin-like growth factor acid-labile subunit (IGFALS) and either IGF-I or IGF-II, circulating in plasma to prolong IGF half-life and modulate receptor interactions.
Diseases associated with IGFBP3 include Insulin-Like Growth Factor I and Acid-Labile Subunit Deficiency.
