Target Information
CD24 is a two-chain glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from bone marrow pro-B-cells to mature B-cells. Plasma cell expression is low or negative.
It is expressed in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
