Product Specific Information

Description:
The 11-26c monoclonal antibody reacts with the delta heavy chain of mouse IgD and does not react with other immunoglobulin classes (IgA, IgG, IgM). IgD is expressed by peripheral mature B cells, and 11-26c does not activate B cells.

Applications Reported:
Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody titration recommended for optimal performance.

Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 702 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 702 nm. Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Staining Buffer Recommendation:
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity:
Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Target Information

IgD is a type I transmembrane protein co-expressed with membrane IgM on mature naive B cells and also found as a soluble form in serum. It associates with the B cell receptor and mediates signal transduction upon antigen binding.
