Product Specific Information
Mouse anti-Bordetella pertussis toxin antibody, clone 1280/204, is reactive with Bordetella pertussis toxin in a simple ELISA. Reactivities with other organisms have not yet been determined.
Target Information
Bordetella pertussis toxin (PTx) inhibits G protein coupling that regulates adenylate cyclase-mediated conversion of ATP to cyclic AMP. This leads to excessive cAMP production in phagocytes, disrupting cellular signaling and impairing immune response to infection.
