Target Information
Syntrophin gamma 2 단백질은 syntrophin 계열에 속하는 세포질 주변막 단백질로, 기계적 자극에 반응하는 나트륨 채널 및 dystrophin 관련 단백질의 C-말단 도메인과 결합합니다. 이 단백질의 PDZ 도메인은 기계적 감각 나트륨 채널의 구성 요소와 상호작용하여 채널 게이팅에 영향을 미칩니다. 이 단백질의 결핍 또는 감소는 Duchenne 근이영양증과 관련이 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱이 보고되었으나 전체 길이는 아직 완전히 규명되지 않았습니다.
