Oncomine™ IGH FR3(d)-J Assay, DNA

The Oncomine IGH FR3(d)-J Assay is a targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) assay designed for detection of B-cell diversity to measure clonal expansion and contraction with high accuracy and sensitivity.
Primers are specifically designed to target the distal region of FR3 to J of the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IGH) of the B-cell receptor. The distal FR3 region exhibits lower levels of somatic hypermutation, improving primer-binding efficiency.

When combined with Ion Reporter™ Software, data can be easily analyzed, and comprehensive reports can be generated quickly.

Application and Workflow

The kit provides reagents for library construction and dNTPs.
Ion AmpliSeq™ libraries can be generated from DNA extracted from:

• FFPE tissue
• Fresh/frozen tissue
• Bone marrow
• Whole blood
• Peripheral blood leukocytes
• PBMCs
• Sorted B cells

Only 50 ng of nucleic acid is required.
Optimized for sequencing on the Ion GeneStudio™ S5 System with Ion 530, Ion 540, and Ion 550 chips, enabling up to 24 samples per run.

When the Primary Test Isn’t Enough

If the desired results are not achieved with a primary test, a secondary or follow-up assay targeting a different region of the V(D)J region can improve detection sensitivity.
The Oncomine IGH FR3(d)-J Assay can serve as a secondary test for enhanced sensitivity.
