Target Information
RARRES1 (Retinoic Acid Receptor Responder 1) gene encodes a type 1 membrane protein responsive to retinoic acid and tazarotene.
Its expression is downregulated in prostate cancer due to promoter and CpG island methylation.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
