Product #31115 reacts with the heavy chains of Syrian hamster IgG and with the light chains common to most hamster immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
This antibody cross-reacts with horse IgG and rat IgG (3%), guinea pig IgG and swine IgG (1%), and shows minimal cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species.

Target Information

Anti-Hamster secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for hamster immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer versatility for multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
