• Direct ELISA에서 다음과 같은 교차 반응성이 관찰됨:
  • 약 100%: canine, feline, human IL-1β
  • 약 40%: porcine, mouse, rat IL-1β
  • 약 10%: cotton rat IL-1β
• 0.2 mg/mL 농도로 멸균 PBS에 재구성 권장
• Endotoxin 수준: <0.10 EU per 1 µg (LAL 방법 기준)

Target Information

Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β)는 단핵구, 대식세포, 수지상세포 등에 의해 발현되는 염증성 사이토카인으로, 염증 자극에 반응하여 31 kDa의 비활성 전구체 형태로 합성된다.
활성형 17 kDa 단백질로의 절단은 inflammasome 활성화에 의해 유도되며, 이는 caspase-1 전구체를 활성화하여 pro-IL-1β를 절단한다.
IL-1β는 전형적인 분비 경로를 따르지 않고 대체 경로를 통해 분비되며, IL-1RI 및 IL-1RII 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달한다.
IL-1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA)는 경쟁적 억제를 통해 IL-1β 활성을 조절한다.
IL-1β는 선천 면역 방어에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 다양한 만성 염증성 질환과 관련되어 있다.
