Target Information
HMHA1 단백질은 Rho-type GTPases를 위한 GTPase activator (RhoGAP) 도메인을 포함하며, 세포 골격 및 세포 확산을 음성 조절할 수 있습니다. 또한 N-말단의 BAR-domain은 RhoGAP 활성에 대한 자가 억제적 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 minor histocompatibility antigen HA-1의 전구체로, MHC와 결합 시 면역 반응을 유도할 수 있습니다. 이러한 항원은 T세포에 의해 인식되어 조혈모세포 이식 후 이식편대숙주병(GVHD)을 유발할 수 있습니다. 특히 HA-1 항원 불일치는 HLA-일치 골수이식 후 심각한 GVHD 발생과 관련이 있습니다.
HA-1은 MHC class I HLA-A*0201 및 기타 HLA-A allele에 의해 세포 표면에 제시되며, 공여자 유래 CTL에 의한 혈액암 세포 인식 및 용해를 유도합니다.
