Target Information
Antibodies are comprised of heavy and light chains. A state of disease can occur if the heavy chain of IgG is overproduced. Diseases associated with gamma heavy chain overproduction mainly affect older adults and have similarity to malignant lymphoma. Some individuals affected by gamma heavy chain overproduction may be asymptomatic.
