Target Information
Antibodies are comprised of heavy and light chains. A disease state can occur if the heavy chain of IgG is overproduced. Diseases associated with gamma heavy chain overproduction mainly affect older adults and have similarities to malignant lymphoma. However, some individuals affected by gamma heavy chain overproduction may remain asymptomatic.
