Target Information
UBA2는 단백질 간의 공유 결합을 통한 전이 반응에 관여하는 효소로, 단백질의 번역 후 변형(posttranslational modification)에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Ubiquitin과 유사한 SUMO(Sentrin) 단백질은 표적 단백질의 안정화 및 세포 내 위치 조절에 관여합니다. SUMO-1, SUMO-2, SUMO-3의 결합에는 E1 활성화 효소 SAE1/SAE2, E2 결합 효소 Ubc9, 그리고 E3 유사 SUMO ligase가 필요합니다.
