Target Information
EIN2는 에틸렌(ethylene, ET)에 의해 조절되는 신호전달 경로의 중심 인자로, 발달, 식물 방어, 노화, 뉴클레오타이드 당 흐름, 굴광성 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여합니다 (PubMed:27694846, 28874528).
ET 수용체 하류에서 작용하며, 에틸렌 조절 전사인자 상류에 위치합니다. 또한 cytokinin 매개 과정에 필요하며, ET, jasmonate 등 다른 경로 간의 교차 조절에도 관여합니다.
철 흡수에는 관여하지 않으며 (PubMed:10381874 등), 에틸렌이 없는 상태에서는 proteasome에 의해 빠르게 분해됩니다 (PubMed:19196655).
에틸렌 유도 EIN3 안정화, EBF1/EBF2 단백질의 분해 조절, methyl jasmonate·ethylene·abscisic acid에 의한 잎 노화 및 염 스트레스 저항성에 필수적입니다 (PubMed:15010611, 21631530).
