PerCP conjugates are excited by the 488 nm line of the argon-ion laser and have a large Stokes shift, providing minimal spectral overlap into the R-PE (phycoerythrin) channel.
Target Information
CD14 is a 55 kDa GPI-anchored glycoprotein constitutively expressed on mature monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. It functions as a lipopolysaccharide (LPS) receptor and exists in both membrane-bound and soluble forms. CD14 interacts with LPS-binding protein (LBP) and plays a role in immune response modulation, apoptosis recognition, and inflammatory processes. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding the same isoform. CD14 dysfunction has been linked to mycobacterium chelonae infection and croup.
