Target Information
MAP2K3 (MEK3)는 세포 신호전달 경로에서 작용하는 이중특이성 단백질 키나아제로, 글루코스 수송체 발현에 필수적입니다. MAPK14/p38-MAPK을 인산화하여 활성화하며, 인슐린에 의해 활성화될 수 있습니다. RAS 온코진의 발현은 이 키나아제의 활성형 축적을 유도하여 MAPK14의 지속적 활성화와 종양성 변환을 초래합니다. 또한 이 키나아제의 억제는 Yersina pseudotuberculosis의 병리기전과 관련이 있습니다. MEK3는 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 변이체를 통해 다양한 아이소폼을 생성합니다.
