Target Information
MAP2K3 (MEK3)는 세포 신호 전달 경로에서 작용하는 이중 특이성 단백질 키나아제로, 포도당 수송체의 발현에 필요합니다. 이는 MAPK14/p38-MAPK를 인산화하여 활성화시키며, 인슐린에 의해 활성화될 수 있습니다. RAS 온코진의 발현은 이 키나아제의 활성형 축적을 유도하여 MAPK14의 지속적 활성화를 초래하고, 1차 세포의 종양 형질 전환에 기여합니다. 또한 이 키나아제의 억제는 Yersinia pseudotuberculosis 병원성에 관여합니다. MEK3에 대해서는 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 각각 다른 이소폼을 암호화합니다.
