Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This nuclear gene encodes a mitochondrial matrix enzyme. Mutations (missense, nonsense, and frameshift) in this enzyme lead to ornithine transcarbamylase deficiency, causing hyperammonemia.
The gene is located near the Duchenne muscular dystrophy gene and may have relevance to that disease.
